Saturday October second you can tour homes and businesses on Long Island that are powered by the Sun. Here is a Collection of all of the stops along the self guided tour. With over 90 locations to choose from, If you live in NYC or Long island you’re probably not more than 10 minutes away from one so check it out.

The National Solar Tour is considered to be the largest public renewable energy education event in the world. It is a self-guided tour of homes, businesses and other buildings with solar features including passive solar design, solar hot water and solar-electric generating systems.
